21.00-33 E4            21.00-35 E4            35/65R33 L4

I would like to begin by thanking our team for their commitment and ideas that made it possible to retread these new sizes. We have always looked for new ways of doing things and being able to use our innovation skills after 2 years of a pandemic, comes as a breath of fresh air! Thank you very much for letting us know what you need, we really appreciate it!

21.00R33 and 21.00R35

Many of you already knew that we retread 18.00R33 and 24.00R35 tires with our LDT tread.

In the case of an 18.00R33 tire with an LDT tread, you can expect it to perform as well as comparable top brand products.

In the case of a 24.00R35 tire with an LDT tread, you can expect it to achieve a performance of 90% compared to top brand products.

For customers who use these tires, as the cost of retreading is typically 55-60% of the cost of a brand name tire, the savings in cost/hours of use are significant.

Over the past few years, we have been wondering how to retread 21.00R33 and 21.00R35 tires, but since the sales volumes in this market are pretty low, it would have been very difficult for us to manage the inventory of treads for this specific width.

After trying various ideas internally, we finally found a way to use our LDT tread for 24.00R35 tires by grating it at the end of the process!

The whole thing results in a full-width 83/32” tread. You can imagine the lifespan!

35/65R33 L4

You might say, “Oh no! Not just the L4”. Indeed, it is a first step because the L5 tire with precured tread represents a real technological challenge on which we are already working.

However, given the demand for the 35/65R33 tire over the past two years, we were looking for a way to offer at least one L4 product. Nothing in today’s market offers similar performance to top brand tires. So, we focused on what we already had; the LDT2 tread for the 18.00R33. The challenge was to cut such a thick tread and assemble it afterwards. We have modified our equipment and “Voilà”!

The result is something you’ve never seen in a new tire. When we measure the surface area on the ground, this unique design is much tighter than the Michelin XLDD1 or the Bridgestone VSNT, just to name a few. Despite the depth of 68/32” vs. that of major brands at 76/32”, that makes us think that the performance will be there.

We now know that the problem is not the retreading; we just need to get the actual performance.

For those of you who would be interested in giving us time to compare our products with new tires, we will be happy to make you trial offers.
